• Plantago major contains several active compounds such as flavonoids, polysaccharides, terpenoids, lipids, iridoid glycosides, and caffeic acid derivatives, and is used in the treatment of various diseases such as constipation, coughs, wounds, infection, fever, bleeding, and inflammation.
• Amber was used to treat eczema, infections caused by allergies, and diseases of the thyroid and eyes. It enhanced immunity and reduced the risk of infections.
• Celosia Argentea is used in traditional medicine. It has shown anthelmintic properties in humans and methanol extracts of the whole plant have shown acaricidal properties.
