PRODUCT INFORMATION:

CALCIUM CARBONATE treats heartburn, indigestion, upset stomach, or other conditions caused by too much stomach acid. It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach. It belongs to a group of medications called antacids. It may also be used to increase calcium levels in your body.
Calcium Lactate Gluconate is used to treat conditions caused by low calcium levels such as bone loss (osteoporosis), weak bones (osteomalacia / rickets), decreased activity of the parathyroid gland (hypoparathyroidism), and a certain muscle disease (latent tetany).
Ascorbic Acid helps the body make collagen, an important protein used to make skin, cartilage, tendons, ligaments, and blood vessels. It It is also needed for healing wounds, and for repairing and maintaining bones and teeth. It also helps the body absorb iron from nonheme sources.
Cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) is also used along with calcium to prevent and treat bone diseases such as rickets (softening and weakening of bones in children caused by lack of vitamin D), osteomalacia (softening and weakening of bones in adults caused by lack of vitamin D), and osteoporosis.
Pyridoxine primarily treats vitamin B6 deficiency and helps alleviate nausea and vomiting during pregnancy.
